Programme
Day 1: Arrival
Arrival in Cracow. For many years, the city was the seat of the Polish kings and is still considered Poland’s cultural and artistic capital.
Day 2: City sightseeing tour
During the city sightseeing tour of Cracow you will see the historic buildings in the Old Town, registered on the UNESCO List of World Cultural Heritage. Very famous is Europe’s largest medieval Market Square with the Cloth Halls as well as St Mary’s Church with its Gothic pentaptych altarpiece carved in limewood. In the afternoon, optional visit to the Royal Castle and Cathedral on Wawel Hill or guided walk through the Jewish quarter of Kazimierz.
Day 3: Salt mine / Tatra Mountains
After buffet breakfast, we offer optional tours: you can admire the highlights of the Tatra Mountains incl. Polands’ most popular centre of winter sports, Zakopane. After that, drive through the Pieniny National Park and raft trip on the Dunajec river or excursion to Wieliczka with a visit to the UNESCO salt mine of Wieliczka. Worth a visit is St Kinga’s Chapel at the depth of 101 m.
Day 4: Departure
